SOCHARA, as a interdisciplinary resource group involved in broad spectrum of community health and public health activities to facilitate Health for All goal via six variant objectives. Apart from these major initiatives, the teaching & learning facilitation, training, advocacy and community health action work of SOCHARA through its units in Bengaluru, Chennai and Bhopal and support to health as social movement at state, national and international levels. Our approach to work is planned to involve processes like training, advocacy, research and action to avoid replication and involving people/participants at all stages.
